Thomas Cawston

Research Director 

Thomas is Research Director at Reform. He leads on public services reform and specialises in healthcare, researching and advocating ideas on increasing competition and choice and improving value for money across the public sector. He has co-authored reports on value for money in healthcare, NHS reform, open public services, welfare policy and economic growth. He has appeared on BBC and Sky News, as well as BBC Radio, and written for The Spectator, Mail Online and Telegraph Online. Thomas joined Reform in June 2009, before that he read a Masters in South Asian History at the University of Oxford and a BA in History and Politics at the University of Exeter.
